Call for Presenters

The Presenter EOIs are now open and close on Wednesday 8 April 2026.

Palliative Care Tasmania is pleased to invite interested individuals or organisations to submit a Presenter Expression of Interest for the Palliative Care Tasmania 2026 Conferenced End-of-life Ecosystem: The Power of Connection, to be held at Wrest Point, Hobart from 9 – 10 September 2026.

Presenter EOIs should respond to the main theme and align with one or more of the following priority areas:

  • Clinical Excellence and Models of Care
  • Community Capability and Compassionate Communities
  • Workforce Capability and Education
  • Grief, Loss and Bereavement
  • Lived Experience and Consumer Led Insight
  • Equity, Diversity and Inclusion
  • Innovation, Research and System Improvement

Presentation Types

Oral Presentation – 30 minutes including 5 minutes for questions.

Workshop – Interactive, skills based or practical sessions. Workshops may run for 1.5 or 3hrs and must include learning objectives, engagement strategy and resource requirements.

Other Format – Panels, provocations, demonstrations or creative and experiential formats. Proposals must outline space, time and technical needs.

How to submit

  • An Expression of interest must be submitted using the online EOI form.
  • Presentation submissions must be prepared in accordance with the presentation submission requirements and answer all form questions including:
    • presenter/s contact details including title, first name, last name, organisation, position, email and contact number
    • presenter/s biography (up to 150 words. If there is more than one presenter, please keep combined biographies to 150 words)
    • presentation title (up to 15 words)
    • presentation sub-theme
    • presentation outline (up to 300 words)
    • If presenters are submitting more than one presentation, each presentation must be submitted separately.
  • Where a presentation submission has more than one presenter, please ensure that all presenters have agreed to the presentation submission and terms and conditions.
  • The submitting presenter must check the ‘acknowledgement of terms and conditions’ box when submitting.
  • Presentation submissions should be checked for clarity, spelling and grammar.
  • Presentation submissions will not be accepted after the closing date.
